Stop Property Tax Increase

As homeowners, we are committed to supporting our communities through responsible property ownership and paying our fair share of taxes. However, year after year, we are facing increasing property taxes without seeing corresponding improvements in the quality of our neighborhoods.

Despite these higher taxes, we are witnessing:

  • A decline in public safety, with rising crime rates in our communities.
  • Neglected public services and infrastructure, which continue to deteriorate.
  • A lack of transparency in how our tax dollars are being used to benefit local residents.

We believe that if property taxes are increased, the government has a responsibility to invest in safer, healthier, and more vibrant communities. This should include:

  1. Enhanced public safety measures to reduce crime and improve the well-being of residents.
  2. Investments in infrastructure, including roads, parks, and public facilities.
  3. Greater transparency and accountability in how property tax revenues are allocated and spent.

We, the undersigned, urge local and state government leaders to take immediate action to address these concerns. We are calling for a moratorium on property tax increases until the following demands are met:

  • A clear, actionable plan to reduce crime and improve public safety.
  • Tangible improvements in community services and infrastructure.
  • Regular reporting and transparency on how our tax dollars are spent to improve our communities.

We stand together as concerned homeowners who want to see our tax dollars put to better use, and we expect our government to prioritize the safety and well-being of the citizens who contribute to these taxes.
